Principles Of Design Website

Principles Of Design-

Moving onto a very new project but similar to our color theory webpages, in foundation class we created webpages for the following principles of design : Movement, repetition, emphasis, alignment, balance, white space, proximity, contrast, and unity.

Discover-

We first must see the things that we know about this unit and our performance task so, what is it that we know about the design principles and gestalt laws? What I know about the design principles is that they all make up a composition. A composition is an arrangement of elements or parts of a design on a page. What exactly makes up a composition is figure and ground. Figure is any object in a given space. Ground is Image result for principles of designreferred to the background. In design principles there is visual hierarchy, balance, alignments, contrast, repeiption, emphasis, white space, proximity, unity. Gestalt law includes, proximity, similarity, enclosure, symmetry, closure, continuity, connection, and figure and ground. What is it that I need to know about the creation of the webpages and how can I make it visually appealing to the human eye? What I need to know about making the webpages is the new css code that I will be using. Also, knowing how and what the principles of design code do and how they work to get the person attention. A way to make it visually pleasing to the viewer is by using the dynamic link css. What resources will I need to use in order to get my information? The resources that I will be using is the computer, textwrangler, my notebook, students and the teacher.

Next we are figuring out our performance task and understanding the needed things such as, What is the problem? Making all of the pages. What are the requirements? The requirements are to make sure that we will use the principles of design code in all of our webages, a stylesheet for our websites, pages will include the our penzu assignments. What are the constraints? Our webpages should at least have two images relating to the Image result for principles of designtopic, The images that we will only use is, balance, alignments, movement, contrast, repetition, and emphasis. Each page must have at least 6-18 sentences. What codes, design, and information am I using to create a solution? Explain why. The certain codes, design and information that I will be using to create a solution is the dynamic link css, new structure tags. These are the things that will help us create and proceeding with the solution.

The design that is most likely to be more successful is the very first one and that’s because, the things that are needed to create the website is there and it’s more clear and organize. (The first design is the one with the coding inside). Whats good about this first one is that, it does have all the things that is required to have inside of a webpage which just makes everything more organize. Unlike the other two, they are organize I must say although, both seem to be missing one of the requirements from the coding.

Develop-

This is when we get to understand the design we made and get to see our challenges/ problems. Firstly, the materials we will need is our computers, notes, textwrangler, the new codes, css file. The problem that I only had was making the image smaller because it was way too big and took up the whole webpage but I was able to get help and fix it. Screen Shot 2019-03-06 at 11.34.31 AM (1)Another problem that I recently had was the div thing because some were the color purple or some was the color black and white and it looked like a mess which bothered me a lot but I was able to fix everything and keep the div all in one color which was purple.

This is when I give in my final product and see if it met all of the requirements, constraints as well as, any changes that I could’ve done to improve my product. The design did meet the requirements, it has all the things that are listed. For example, the penzu assignments. I made sure that I had contrast, movement, emphasis, repetition, alignment, and balance for the webpages. My design did meet the constraints because comparing to the final product and the constraints I was able to make sure that I followed each one to know and understand my limit to this design. Certain changes that I could’ve made is to make the colors a bit more organize and make sense. The colors I’ve chosen aren’t bad but I feel as if it is out of place. As well as the div color I wanted to change
